1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. When you return, the browser sends the file back, which lets the site recognise the visit. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do similar jobs by different means, and this policy covers all of them.
Cookies are categorised in two useful ways. By lifespan: a session cookie is deleted when you close the browser, a persistent cookie survives until it expires or you delete it. By origin: a first-party cookie is set by the site you are visiting, a third-party cookie is set by another domain whose content is embedded in the page.
2. Our approach
This website is deliberately built as a set of static pages with no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no social media tracking scripts and no embedded content that phones home. Fonts, stylesheets, scripts, images and video are all served from our own domain.
The practical consequence is that we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all, and there is no profile of your browsing built anywhere as a result of visiting this site.
In short
No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No third-party trackers. The only storage used is strictly functional, first-party, and described in full below.
3. Cookies and storage we use

We do not set cookies of these kinds: advertising, retargeting, cross-site measurement, social sharing, personalisation, A/B testing, heat-mapping or session recording.
4. Server logs
Independently of cookies, our hosting provider records standard access logs for every request: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, referrer and user-agent string. These logs are used for security investigation and technical diagnostics, are not linked to any identity, and are deleted after ninety days.
Log data is not used to build a profile, is not shared with advertisers, and is not analysed for marketing purposes.
5. Third-party content and links
We embed no third-party content in our pages. Video is hosted on our own domain rather than on a video platform, precisely so that watching it does not expose you to a platform's tracking.
We do link to external sites — our social media profiles, for example. Once you follow such a link, that site's own cookie and privacy policies apply and ours no longer do. Social platforms in particular set extensive tracking cookies, and we have no control over them.
If we ever introduce a third-party service that sets cookies, we will update this page before it goes live and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
6. How to control cookies
6.1 In your browser
Every modern browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. You can block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear everything on exit.

6.2 Private browsing
Private or incognito windows discard cookies and storage when the window closes. They do not hide your IP address from the server.
6.3 What happens if you block everything
Because this site uses no tracking, blocking cookies entirely has almost no effect. Pages render normally and every link and form works. The only difference is that small interface preferences are not remembered between pages.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a Do Not Track header or a Global Privacy Control signal. There is no universal standard for how a site must respond. Since we perform no tracking and sell no data, our behaviour is the same whether or not the signal is present — which is to say, we do not track you either way.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change the way this site uses cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change introduces a technology that requires consent, we will ask for that consent before the technology is enabled, not afterwards.
