Courses

Hanic School of Interior Design — day, evening and weekend programmes in design and the software the industry actually uses.

Registration open

Twelve weeks from curious to employable

Interior design from introduction to implementation, plus modelling and rendering in Revit Architecture and 3ds Max, scheduling and document preparation.

Classes run in day, evening and weekend programmes so you can keep working while you study. Groups are deliberately small — every student gets desk time with an instructor who is also a practising architect. You finish with a documented mini project, not just a certificate.

How it runs

Three schedules, one standard

Day programme

Monday to Friday, 09:00–12:00. The fastest route through the twelve weeks, suited to full-time students and recent graduates.

Evening programme

Three evenings a week, 17:30–20:00. Designed for people already working, with recorded exercises you can catch up on.

Weekend programme

Saturday and Sunday, 09:00–15:00. The same curriculum in longer studio sessions, with the mini project developed across the block.

Admissions

What you need to join

No portfolio and no prior degree is required for the Interior Design and Photoshop tracks. Revit and After Effects assume basic computer literacy; 3ds Max assumes you have modelled something before.

Apply for the next intake
A laptop capable of running the software for your track (8 GB RAM minimum for Revit, 16 GB recommended for 3ds Max), a notebook, and a scale rule for the interior design track. We provide the exercise files and the project brief.
Yes. The fee can be split across the duration of the course, with the first instalment due before the first class. Ask us for the current schedule and any promotional package when you register.
We are a working studio, so we know who is hiring. Strong graduates are introduced to practices we work with, and the best are sometimes offered project work with us. We do not promise placement — we make sure your portfolio deserves the interview.
Exercise files and the class recording for software tracks are shared with the group, and instructors hold a weekly catch-up slot. If you miss more than three sessions we will move you to the next intake rather than let you fall behind.
It is a certificate of completion issued by Hanic Software Tutor and Interior Design PLC, signed by the instructor. In practice, employers in Addis Ababa ask to see the project you produced far more often than the certificate itself — which is exactly why the mini project sits at the end of every track.

The next intake is filling up

Groups are capped so that every student gets real desk time. Send your details and we will confirm your place and the payment schedule.
